Enrolment for Puppy Classes is now available months in advance.
If you know you are getting a puppy in a month or two, avoid disappointment and enrol now! Classes are run at 10am on Sunday mornings in the air conditioned comfort of the Turvey Park Girl Guides hall.

Getting a new puppy is such an exciting time! 

If there is one thing you've probably already learnt about owning a puppy is that pretty much everyone you know will have advice on the best way to raise it. It can make everything so much more confusing because no-one will have the same advice. In the end, we both know you want what is best for your puppy. So do I!!

When you enrol in my Start Strong Puppy School, you're enrolling in a totally different kind of puppy class. What's different about my classes?

4 WEEKLY CLASSES

Classes are capped at four puppies so you get the attention you need and your puppy is not too distracted. Plenty of room for puppies to play and explore. Classes are held on Sunday mornings at 10am in the Girl Guides Hall, Sunshine Avenue, Turvey Park.

VIDEO TUTORIALS

You get lifetime access to over 50 bite-size videos, including step by step videos of skills taught in class, in depth "Why does my puppy?" questions answered, enrichment challenges, problem prevention strategies and more!


EBOOKS AND HANDOUTS

If videos aren't your thing there's also single subject PDFs on every topic if you only need a couple of pointers. You will also be given my Training Tracker to help you keep track of where you and your puppy are up to and where you might need more help.


SUPPORT

You receive 6 months phone and email support when you enrol as well as access to my exclusive online community support group only available to clients of Your Dog & You. It's like having a trainer in your pocket for all your puppy related enquiries.


My four weekly classes are designed to help you safely socialise your puppy. You will also learn how to deal with common puppy issues like toilet training, biting, chewing and jumping. You will learn how to know if your puppy is enjoying a play session or if they need some space for a moment. I can help with harness advice and fitting. Each week includes an enrichment activity and field trip ideas for places to take your puppy. 

Completing the orientation unit before the first class allows us to get off to a flying start with your puppy. By the end of my puppy course your puppy will respond to their name, willingly swap one item for another and accept gentle handling of paws, ears etc. We will teach your puppy basic foundation skills like sit, down and stay. They will also begin learning how to walk on a loose lead.
